This is the reason why the players want Gerardo Martino out of Mexico National Team
El Tri players are unhappy with some of Martino's decisions.
Gerardo “Tata” Martino has been questioned about his way of coaching Mexico National Team, as multiple times, El Tri players have said that there’s no communication between them and the Argentinian coach, or that he’s cold and reserved.

That has led to the point where El Tri stands now, on the brink of elimination if they lose another game, as they already lost the lead on CONCACAF Qualifiers after the back-to-back defeats against United States and Canada, who currently are leading the Qualifiers.
But the real reason why El Tri players don’t seem to like Martino is because the Argentinian coach prohibited the visits of friends and families to Mexico National Team camp after the scandal in 2019 when a woman was spotted with Javier “Chicharito” Hernández in the hotel they were staying.
Can Mexico become leader of CONCACAF again?
Mexico National Team has the possibility of regaining the first stand with two victories, against Costa Rica and Panama, if USMNT and Canada MNT tie on their game and El Tri scores 5+ goals, although the second thing might be difficult.
