Jesús Corona suffered a severe injury seven months ago in training with Sevilla, this action made him miss the Qatar 2022 World Cup with the Mexican National Team. The striker has had a complicated recovery process and still hasn't played a game.

His last game was on August 12, 2022, that day the Mexican faced Osasuna and had a good performance. After his severe injury, he has watched Sevilla's matches from a box, his situation is complicated because he cannot recover.

Jesús Corona is already training with the team but coach Jorge Sampaoli still does not see him ready to play a highly competitive match, the Argentine does not want the Mexican to get injured again and that is why he takes good care of him.

"Tecatito is having a slower evolution than expected, he feels better day by day, but he is not up to the task to compete in an official match," Jorge Sampaoli said at a press conference. Sevilla is going through a difficult situation and if the bad results continue, it could go down to the second division.

The new value of Tecatito Corona

According to the specialized portal Transfermarket, in 2022 the value of the Tecatito Corona went from 19 million euros to 14 million, which represented a devaluation of 27 percent of its value. The Mexican has to play to increase his value.
