FC Barcelona is after him but Martino refuses to call him to El Tri

Now that we know we won’t be seeing him wearing El Tri colors again, and with the most likely absence of Hirving “Chucky” Lozano for the upcoming CONCACAF Qualifiers, people are wonder who could fill that spot in Gerardo “Tata” Martino’s roster.

Although “Tata” Martino is known for his refusal to call young players, as he believes they don’t have enough experience, Alex Alcalá could be the player that changes his mind, as even Pep Guardiola knows of his talent and wants to sign him as soon as he turns 18.

Who is Alex Alcalá?

Alex Alcalá was born in Stockon, California in 2005 on a Mexican household. His skills and abilities have placed him in Manchester City’s radar, and they already agree to extend him a contract when he turns 18. For now, he plays with LA Galaxy’s academy teams and is part of Mexico National Team U-16 squad.
