Thanks to Marcelo Flores, a new Dual Nat has decided to join Mexico National Team
Flores recently announced that he decided to play for El Tri.
Mexico National Team already started preparing to face the 2022 FIFA World Cup, as they already had their first friendly game of the summer against Nigeria, game that El Tri won 2-1 with goals of Santiago Giménez and William Troost-Ekong in own goal.

Although he didn’t play against the Super Eagles, Gerardo “Tata” Martino gave Marcelo Flores his first call-up since the 18-year-old offensive midfielder announced his intention of playing for El Tri for the rest of his professional career.
The addition of one of the top talents in the world has made the Aztec squad a more attractive national team for young players with dual nationalities, as the stage that El Tri aspires to reach in the next World Cups are higher now, something that already paid off and has convinced a Dual Nat to join El Tri.

According to reports from Jóvenes Futbolistas MX, Richard Ledezma has agreed to play for El Tri for the rest of his professional career, a big win for the Aztec squad, as the 21-year-old offensive midfielder has made his whole career in the US academy teams.
Ledezma scored his first goal in Eredivisie on the last game of the season, and even if he only played five games for PSV Eindhoven, as he was sidelined for most of the season due to injuries, including a torn ACL that kept him out of the pitches for over a year, he promises to become a regular for PSV in the upcoming season, and given that he’s in the process of acquiring his Mexican passport, he could end up sneaking in the final roster of El Tri for Qatar.
