The truth is that, if Carlos Vela ends up returning, it is because he considers and is aware of the deficiencies México has up front. A factor that could come to an end if Vela decides to return to the team now coached by Martino.

Yon de Luisa has already opened the door to the former Arsenal and Real Sociedad player. The now LAFC player could consider the proposal and end up returning for what could be his last World Cup. However, his return could provoke the departure of other teammates, not necessarily due to sporting or tactical issues.

Which players could leave?

Should the issue of Carlos Vela and the national team materialize, Andrés Guardado and Guillermo Ochoa would be the two players who would leave El Tri. Tata Martino counts on both of them and knows the risk involved in any decision taken towards Qatar 2022.
