Mexico National Team has disappointed with their performances since last year, not only Gerardo “Tata” Martino and his questionable decisions as El Tri coach, but also the players who don’t feel the colors and even everyone in the structure that have helped to jeopardize El Tri’s participation in Qatar.

But it seems that someone in Mexican Football Federation finally understood that things have to change if they want to have a decent participation in the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup, as they are close to earn their ticket after barely managing to win against Panama.

Yon de Luisa knows FMF and Mexico National Team need someone who knows Mexican soccer and that won’t be afraid to confront both players and coach, something that Gerardo Torrado, who is in charge of all the National Teams, hasn’t been able to do, which is why he might be the first to leave El Tri.

Who can replace Gerardo Torrado?

Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti is the obvious choice, given that he’s one of the most experienced coaches in Liga MX and even has coached El Tri for a few games.
