Larcamón has showed why he's considered one of the best coaches in Liga MX.

Nicolás Larcamón has established himself as one of the best coaches in Liga MX since his arrival in Club Puebla for Clausura 2021. In three seasons with La Franja, Larcamón has returned the spotlight to them, as they’ve played two straight Liguillas with him on the dugout.

For Clausura 2022, so far, Los Camoteros have won 3 games and tied 2 more, which currently have them as Liga MX leaders after 5 rounds. They might not have the highest-valued roster in Mexico, but Larcamón has find a way to push them to give the best they have every single game.

Given his outstanding performances, he’s started to be linked with El Tri, and when asked about his potential arrival in Mexico National Team, he said he’d love to coach the Aztec squad in the future, although for now he’s focused with Club Puebla.

Would he keep calling non-Mexicans to El Tri?

If he was to become El Tri’s next coach, Larcamón wouldn’t consider calling Rogelio Funes Mori, as he knows “El Mellizo” is not playing as his best self, but he wouldn’t close the door to any Mexican who could improve El Tri’s performances.
