One of the major absentees from the Mexican national team for Qatar 2022 is precisely Carlos Acevedo. The Santos Laguna player will not be in the next World Cup after confirming the list of 31 players who will play in the training camp prior to the World Cup, and one of the big absentees is precisely Carlos Acevedo.

Is Acevedo ruled out for Qatar?
The preliminary list is official. Martino called up 31 players and only five of them will be left out of the final list. In it, the three goalkeepers who will go are Guillermo Ochoa, Alfredo Talavera and Rodolfo Cota. For this reason, the only possibility Acevedo would have is if one of these elements ends up injured.
