Napoli’s coach doesn’t trust Hirving Lozano, which could help him to arrive in Real Madrid

Hirving Lozano can’t seem to gain regularity with SSC Napoli, between the rotation of coaches he’s had since joining the team back in 2019 and the lack of trust some of them seem to have for the Mexican right-winger.

The latest sign of this was on today’s match against Salernitana, when Napoli won by a 4-1 score, but “Chucky” Lozano couldn’t contribute, as he only was in the pitch for the first half. Luciano Spalletti decided to place Elif Elmas in his place for the second half.

Spalletti cut short Lozano’s aspirations of repeating last week’s performance, letting him know he still has a long road ahead of him before becoming one of his favorite players. But the irregularity with Napoli, summed to the interest of La Liga teams, could force his departure from Italy.

Could he arrive in Real Madrid?

Although Lozano is still under contract with Napoli until 2024, the interest of Carlo Ancelotti plus the possible retirement of Gareth Bale could open the door for “Chucky”. Real Madrid would have to pay around $46 million if they want to acquire the Mexican winger.
