After his brace against Bologna, Hirving Lozano was back in Napoli's starting lineup this Sunday against Salernitana, but Chucky was not convincing and came on as a substitute after 46 minutes in the match that ended in a 4-1 victory for his team.

Juan Jesús's left-footed shot from the center of the box into the right side of the goal, assisted by Eljif Elmas, who took the corner kick, opened the scoring at 17'. The VAR had to confirm the validity of the goal.

Chucky was trying to make his presence felt, and in the first few minutes he had already had a shot on goal and in minute 22 another one, but it went wide. This was the least that was seen of the Mexican, along with an offside in minute 29.

Things seemed to get complicated for Napoli, as in the 33rd minute, Federico Bonazzoli's right-footed shot from the center of the box put the score at 1-1 at the left post.

Napoli soon put their foot down, however, as two penalties by Frederic Veseli set the tone for the game. At 45'+2 it was a foul on Eljif Elmas and two minutes later Dries Mertens scored to make it 2-1.

Insigne's substitution improved Napoli's performance

The first half ended and when the match resumed, Chucky was replaced by Lorenzo Insigne; then at 47' the score was increased to 3-1 when Amir Rrahmani's left-footed shot added to the tally.

Meanwhile, at 50', in an incredible way, Frederic again committed a penalty, the previous one for a foul and this time for a handball, which earned him a red card and his team another goal against at 53', Lorenzo Insigne converted the penalty.

Napoli has 49 points, close to Inter, which has 53; the second place held by Chucky's team could change, as the result of Milan's match against Juventus is still to come.

Insigne equals Maradona

Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne equaled the 115 goals scored by Argentine Diego Armando Maradona with the Napoli team.

Insigne did not miss from eleven meters and left his name in Napoli's history, the club where he spent his whole life and which he will leave in July to join Toronto of the MLS. Insigne achieved it in eleven seasons while Maradona did it in eight, crowning himself with two league titles.
