The 1-0 victory of Real Madrid over Liverpool in the final of the Champions League will have an indirect winner, as the 14th European title is what Hirving “Chucky” Lozano needed to leave Italy once the summer transfer window opens.

The Mexican International will be on the move over the summer, as Aurelio di Laurentiis, Napoli’s owner, and Luciano Spalletti have agreed to make him transferable, as “Chucky” hasn’t been able to adapt to Spalletti’s system.

"Chucky" Lozano played 30 games in Serie A, although only 20 of them as a starter, which is why he doesn’t look with bad eyes to leave Napoli in search of more playing time, especially on the months prior to the World Cup.

Where will he play next season?

Liverpool’s defeat in Champions League means just one thing: Jürgen Klopp will reinforce the team to fight for the European Cup once again next year, opening the door to “Chucky” Lozano to arrive at Liverpool, as reports suggest that The Reds are interested in the Mexican winger.

But the possibility of Lozano playing in Premier League next season grows bigger after Saturday’s night game, given that Los Blancos are pursuing the addition of Sadio Mané, who after losing his second Champions League finals against them, is ready to become a Real Madrid player next season.

The departure of Mané to La Liga could happen in the next few days, according to reports from Diario As, which will leave Liverpool’s right side of the pitch unguarded, something that positions “Chucky” as the priority before the 2022-23 season starts. The best part for Liverpool, is that Lozano’s salary is lower than Mané’s, as The Reds will only have to pay him $5.5 million per season.
