Since he joined Eredivisie side PSV Eindhoven Hirving “Chucky” Lozano has established as one of the best Mexican players in Europe, as he managed to win his first title on his first season with the Boeren, in the 2017-18 season.

His outstanding performances made him one of PSV’s most beloved players but also gathered attention from several teams, including Serie A side SSC Napoli, team that ended up acquiring him for the 2019-20 season after Carlo Ancelotti personally requested his addition.

Lozano has played with the Azzurri ever since, although his stint in Napoli has been full of ups and downs given the changes that the coaching staff has gone through, as Ancelotti was sacked only a few months after “Chucky” arrived.

He was benched with Genaro Gattuso for several months until he convinced the Italian coach to return him to the starting XI, but when Gattuso left and was replaced by Luciano Spalletti, Hirving Lozano lost his protagonist role once again.

He’ll be on the move over the summer

Spalletti is decided to part ways with him once the current season is over and already let Aurelio di Laurentiis know about his intentions. Given the economic situation that Napoli is going through, they’ve decided to sell Lozano if a good offer arrives.

One of the latest teams to join the pursue of Lozano’s addition is Serie A side SS Lazio, as they are in need of a player with the qualities of “Chucky”. Although Napoli aren’t fully interested in strengthening a direct rival, they are considering trading Lozano for the Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto.

If Lozano ends up moving to Lazio, he’ll join Mexican Argentine right-winger Luka Romero, who arrived at Lazio for the current season out of RCD Mallorca thanks to his outstanding performances in the academy teams and his regular apparitions with the first team.

Will Romero play for El Tri?

The 17-year-old right-winger hasn’t debuted yet with Argentina National Team although he already received his first call up on the past FIFA match window. Even if he still has the chance to change his mind and play for El Tri, he’s declined several times the invitation of the Mexican national team to join them, as he’s decided to play with Messi.
