There is no doubt that the majority of Mexican players fail to make the leap to the next level, that is, the European elite, where the best level of the old continent, Europe, really is, because the rhythm and the condition that the soccer players have there is much higher than the level in Mexico.
However, that does not take away from the fact that there have been Mexican players who are something to talk about in those territories, from legends like Hugo Sánchez or Rafael Márquez, to today like Santiago Giménez in the Netherlands, as well as the recent championship in Serie A by Napoli and Chucky Lozano.
In fact, there was the case of a Mexican player who really promised a lot when he was just making his debut, because his quality was very high, even exceeding the average of most Mexicans, in fact, and that is the case of the Mexican attacking midfielder, Marco Fabián, who played very well.
His level was so high that he even won one of the best titles that the Mexican National Team could obtain, such as the gold medal at the London Olympics in 2012, where he beat Neymar, he also won a DFB Pokal in Germany, with Frankfurt, against Robert Lewandowski's Batern Munich.
But none of that matters, considering that now the player no longer has a job in soccer, since he was part of those who would be transferred by the Mazatlán FC team, in that sense, he no longer has a team to play for, and it doesn't look like he'll have a team looking at him any time soon.
