One of the players that he didn’t use on the past FIFA World Cup Qualifiers was Johan Vásquez, who travelled all the way from Italy to Mexico just to be benched on two games and become a healthy scratch on the other, which made him leave El Tri camp mad with the Argentinian coach.

But this weekend, Vásquez decided to leave all that behind him and focused on the game where Genoa CFC received Roma, where he was a starter for the Rossoblu on the scoreless draw that earned him praise from José Mourinho, who currently is coaching Roma.

What did Mourinho say about Vásquez?

Johan Vásquez was the protagonist of one of the latest plays in the game, where Roma scored the goal that would have meant the victory for the Giallorossi, but a foul over Vásquez annulated the goal. Mourinho, although mad for the result, said Vásquez had a good game as he erased Rick Karsdrop on the pitch.
