The new process and restructuring of the Mexican national team is beginning to take shape. The FMF surprisingly made several decisions, including the dismissal of Gerardo Torrado as sports director, and now they are looking for his replacement. With Martino's imminent departure after the World Cup, an important change is on the horizon.

He's Mexican, Italy could call him, he scored 100 goals and says yes to El Tri, goodbye to Vela

In that sense, the FMF board of directors is already considering a replacement for Torrado in the new position in charge of the sports management of national teams. This replacement could bring with him Marcelo Bielsa, a coach with whom he has developed a good friendship, but above all, he trained him during his stay when Bielsa was at Atlas de Guadalajara.

After an outstanding spell at Leeds United, Marcelo Bielsa is currently without a team or contract. His arrival at the Mexican national team would be more accessible than that of a coach with a team in charge. Pavel Pardo is the person who would take over the position previously used by Torrado. He is a former player and current manager, one of the most respected in the country.

Will Pavel Pardo accept the proposal to become Director of National Teams?

For Pardo, beyond being the ideal candidate, he considers this a unique opportunity. According to Mexican media, the former player rejected América's proposal because he intends to work with the Mexican national soccer team. An opportunity that presents itself in the best way.
