At times, it’s unbelievable that Nicolás Larcamón didn’t arrive in Liga MX earlier, as he seems to be the perfect fit for a team like Club Puebla but has also become the envy of other clubs that currently are having problems to gain regularity in Clausura 2022.

If Larcamón arrives in El Tri, will Carlos Vela return?

Since Nicolás Larcamón took over Club Puebla, he has helped La Franja reach the semifinals for the first time in over a decade and then play Liguilla again, helping Los Camoteros to reach three straight Liguillas for the first time in their history.

Larcamón has said that arriving in Mexico National Team’s bench is one of his biggest dreams, as El Tri usually fights for big things. FMF is considering replacing Gerardo Martino, as they don’t trust that “Tata” will be El Tri’s long-term solution.

Which players will Larcamón stop calling?

If Larcamón arrives in El Tri’s dugout, he knows at least three players that currently are part of Martino’s roster should have stopped being called a long time ago, since they haven’t played at a high level for a while. Those players are Andrés Guardado, Guillermo Ochoa and Héctor Moreno.
