Javier Hernandez is currently the top scorer of the Mexican national team, but it has been more than a year since his last call-up and it is not clear when he will be able to return to El Tri.

Chicharito disappeared from the eye of Argentine coach Gerardo Martino, who currently has Raul Jimenez, Henry Martin, or Rogelio Funes Mori as his strikers.

Chicharito's absence from the national team has raised several opinions, some of them referring to a conflict that has led him not to represent his country again, either in friendly matches or CONCACAF competitions.

However, there is speculation that the absence is not Hernandez's decision, but rather Tata's own decision not to call him up as a result of the party in New York, which even led to the dismissal of Andres Mateos, who was part of the logistics staff of the Mexican national team.

Guillermo Ochoa and Andres Guardado were said to have banned Javier Hernandez from El Tri, now one of them is calling for his return

Following the controversy of the party in New York, Andres Guardado and Guillermo Ochoa, national team players, had discussions with Chicharito about it. They invited him to apologize, but the striker's refusal to do so led them to consider banning him from the national team.

However, now it seems that Guillermo Ochoa and Chicharito have put aside the conflict and have started interacting again on social networks. In an Instagram post by the LA Galaxy forward, the Mexican writes the following phrase: "live more, worry less". América's goalkeeper reacted to the post.

Besides that post, Guillermo Ochoa has started to react to other ones, suggesting that the problem they had due to the New York party was left aside.

Will Ochoa ask for Chicharito's return?

It is a hasty answer but the barrier has been broken down and it could be a start for Chicharito, with the help of his teammates, to be called up again.

Yon de Luisa, president of the Mexican Soccer Federation also talked about why Chicharito has not been called. The executive ruled out any veto against the striker but explained that he put personal issues before team issues, which did not please the coach, Gerardo Martino.

"Javier was considered by the coach Gerardo Martino, that is why he was called and that is why he played. During that period there were a series of internal things that were decided to be maintained, which is why the coach has decided not to call him up, and in that sense, we have discussed it repeatedly, whatever 'Tata' decides has our full support. This is a good example of what happens inside is resolved internally, but we have to look out for the good of the group", explained the director.
