“Chicharito” Hernández is considering returning to Mexico National Team if they stop calling this player
He'll wait until Gerardo Martino leaves El Tri.
With the ongoing rumors of Gerardo “Tata” Martino’s departure from Mexico National Team after the disappointing 2021 El Tri had, a lot of players have raised their hand to be considered by the next coach, either it’s Miguel Herrera, Ricardo Ferretti or even Javier Aguirre.

Javier “Chicharito” Hernández is one of the players that is waiting to return to El Tri, after Gerardo Martino vetoed him for not being disciplined enough according to his standards. Hernández even said he’s willing to apologize publicly if that helped him play again with Mexico National Team.
But given that Martino might be on his last minutes as El Tri coach, Hernández will wait until the next coach arrives to pursue his return. Although he’d have one condition in order to make it happen: he’ll ask that Andrés Guardado stops being called.

According to reports, one of the problems Hernández faced when he was part of Mexico National Team camp was with Guardado and Guillermo Ochoa after the LA Galaxy forward was benefited by sponsors and even the same FMF, as he received more privileges than them.
