It’s no lie to say that Mexico National Team is living one of their worst moments in recent years, not only because they look unsynchronized every time they play, but also because they haven’t guaranteed their assistance to Qatar 2022, and might have to wait at least until the playoffs.
Is Nicolás Larcamón the coach El Tri needs to finally make history?
Gerardo Martino is having problems figuring out who can complement Raúl Jiménez in the offense, especially after El Tri seems to have lost the ability to score. Even on the last match of the past FIFA match window, when Jiménez was available, the Aztecs were only able to open the score via penalty kick.
Carlos Vela has stated in the past that he hasn’t closed the door and would like to play again for Mexico National Team, something he hasn’t done since Russia 2018, and Martino will have to consider him for the next CONCACAF Qualifiers match window, given that Hirving Lozano won’t be available for those games.
When Gerardo Martino Arrived in Mexico National Team, he established a discipline level that previously wasn’t part of El Tri camps, in which he prohibited the players to have guests in the training camp, even if they’re family. That’s what drove Carlos Vela away from El Tri, as he likes to be close to his family.
Rumors say that he was drunk in El Tri training camp, but now he’s close to arriving in Colombia
