But after news broke of Gareth Bale’s possible retirement after the current season ends, Carlo Ancelotti has started looking for a replacement for the Welsh international, and given his familiarity with the Mexican right-winger, he might be wearing the white jersey next season.

Everything points towards this season being Hirving Lozano’s last season as a Napoli player, especially now that two of the biggest clubs in European soccer are about to start a bid war to acquire his services. According to Transfermarkt, his market value currently is set at $45 million.

Why hasn’t Chucky played with Napoli?

Hirving “Chuky” Lozano hasn’t played in the last two games for Napoli, missing the 1-1 draw against Juventus and the 1-0 victory against Sampdoria, as a result of a positive test for covid right after the holidays. Although he’s asymptomatic, he’s isolated waiting for a negative test.
