Chucky Lozano is wanted by two European soccer giants

Chucky Lozano has not had a good half of the season but even so, two European soccer giants are interested in his services. 

With only 16 games played, 12 in Serie A and 4 in the Europa League, the Mexican has attracted the attention of some of the top players in European soccer.

Which two European giants are after Chucky Lozano?

Hirving Lozano has caught the attention of Real Madrid, so according to Diario Gol, this Spanish team is interested in signing the player.   

According to the media, the Merengues would be willing to pay 40 million euros for his pass. 

Something that would facilitate the transfer would be that the current Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, appreciates Lozano since he coached him when the Italian led Napoli.  

According to Diario Gol and other Spanish and Italian media, Madrid needs Hirving Lozano to give a boost to the Spanish team's attack.

In addition, the arrival of Chucky would serve to replace Gareth Bale, who is close to leaving the Spanish squad. 

If this move happens, Lozano would join the list of the few Mexican players who have played for Real Madrid, such as Hugo Sánchez or Javier Hernández. 

But Real Madrid is not alone in the bidding for the Mexican player. 

The other team looking to get Lozano belongs to Serie A and it´s Inter Milan, according to information from Calciomercato. 

According to the information, Inter is looking for Lorenzo Insigne, Chuky's teammate at Napoli.

However, due to complications in his recruitment, the Italian team's second option would be Lozano, so the player would remain in the league. 

Why does Lozano want to leave Napoli?

This has not been Hirving's best year as a professional player, as he has recorded the lowest number of goals of his career. 

In the current 2021-2022 season Chuky has only scored 2 goals and 6 assists in 16 games played. He has played 4 games in the Europa League and recent days had a couple of incidents that may have increased his desire to leave Napoli. 

First, in recent days he was harshly criticized for missing a goal and losing a chance to tie the game against Atalanta, which contributed to his team losing not only the match with a score of 3-2 but also losing the Serie A lead. 

On the other hand, some media have pointed out that there is not a good atmosphere in the dressing room of the Italian team, since Lozano's teammates do not pass him as many balls as before. 

And as if that were not enough, Chuky was interviewed and stated that Napoli fans did not like it at all.  

"I am in a very competitive club, but the truth is that I would like to go to a bigger team. I consider myself a competitive player, with very clear objectives, I feel at a good level and I would like to take that step in my career," said Hirving Lozano in an interview with a Mexican television channel. 

The statement fell like a bombshell among the fans, who began to demonstrate their rejection of the comment made by the player.

His words were so echoed that the Italian newspaper Roma suggested that it could be a strategy organized by the player's agent, Mino Raiola, to look for new horizons.
