The Colombian striker was not afraid of the Cruz Azul defense, as he opened the scoring in the 5th minute of the match, making the score 1-0 and encouraging his teammates to overcome the crisis in which they find themselves at the bottom of the general table. 

Who is Harold Preciado?

Harold Preciado is a Colombian soccer player who plays as a center forward or left winger for Club Santos Laguna, of Liga MX

Yesterday afternoon the player started the epic by scoring against the fourth place in the overall table of Liga MX 2022.

However, the Cementeros would not stay with their hands folded and in the 64th minute, José Ignacio Rivero scored the equalizer to make the score 1-1.

Nevertheless, the Laguneros were already encouraged by Preciado's first goal, and almost at the end of the match, in added time, they scored 1-2 through Diego Medina

Where and when was Harold Preciado born?

Harold Preciado was born in Tumaco, a Colombian municipality located in the department of Nariño, whose municipal seat bears the name of San Andrés de Tumaco, on June 1, 1994.

Preciado began his career in soccer occurred at the age of 18 with Deportivo Cali, a club that debuted him in 2013, but in early 2015, he returned from Jaguares de Córdoba after his loan in 2014.

Since the 2015 Apertura of the Colombian First Division tournament, he began to be a reference in his team, in which he managed to score 13 goals in 23 games, and would-be champion in this tournament being his first league. 

In 2014 he would arrive at the Colombian Second Division club Jaguares F. C. and would help this team to be promoted to the first category, being the scorer of his squad with 18 goals. 

There he would not stop his hunger for achievements as with his team he won the 2015 Apertura Tournament, winning the final of that tournament against America de Cali with a 5-2 aggregate.

What other teams have Harold Preciado played for?

Following his achievements in Colombian soccer, Preciado would be transferred to Shenzen F. C. of the China League One, in 2017, the Second Division of soccer in that country, and in 2019 he would make his debut in the Chinese Super League, the First Division. 

Although he did not win titles in his stay in Asian soccer, Preciado would play 105 matches, in which he would score 57 goals and provide 21 assists.

In 2020 he would terminate his contract with Shenzen F. C. and return to Deportivo Cali in 2021, where on July 17, in the match against Santa Fe for the Finalization Tournament, he would be crowned top scorer with 13 goals, leading Cali to its tenth star.

From there, the player would arrive on January 28, 2022, to Santos Laguna in Liga MX 2022.

Has Harold Preciado played for the Colombian national soccer team?

Preciado was called up to the senior national team in January 2022, for a friendly match of the Colombian national soccer team against Honduras in the United States.

In that match, Preciado would make his international debut with an assist for Juan Fernando Quintero in the first goal of a 2-1 victory over Honduras.
