When Cadena arrived as interim coach, the Rebaño began to talk to other coaches, but Cadena managed to get the team into the Liguilla and although he was eliminated by Atlas in the first phase of the Liguilla, he left a good feeling at the helm of the red and white team.

As a result, upon leaving the Clausura 2022, the board of directors told Ricardo Cadena that he was not officially out of the Chivas helm yet, so the coach is still waiting for Amaury Vergara's decision.
