The requests of Ricardo Ferretti to arrive in Club América

Since he arrived last season, after Victor Manuel Vucetich was fired due to poor results, Leaño took over the team. Ricardo Peláez, Chivas' sporting director, decided to give him continuity for this tournament, however, the results are not accompanying the current coach of the Rojiblancos.

For this tournament, Marcelo Michel Leaño's record is three wins, four ties, and four losses. Fans are not entirely happy with the team's performances and are demanding more from the young coach, who has not yet been able to get the best out of the Rojiblanca squad.

The only teams Chivas has been able to beat this tournament are two teams at the bottom of the table, FC Juárez and Mazatlán, and the only other team they beat was Santos, who were in last place at the time until they fired their former coach Caixinha.

Due to this situation, in El Futbolero US, we present three candidates that could arrive at Chivas de Guadalajara, if Marcelo Michel Leaño's situation does not improve.

Ramón Morales

Ramoncito was an epoch-making player, and he also worked as a youth coach and assistant coach of the first team on several occasions. If Guadalajara is looking for a coach who can serve as an alternative, who knows the entity and does not need an adaptation period, this is where the sports project can go.

Javier Aguirre

If they are not in a hurry, Guadalajara could bet on their next project with the former Monterrey coach, remembering that he will no longer be able to coach the Rojiblancos this tournament.

El Vasco knows Chivas perfectly well from his time as a player, he has a lot of experience and in most of his jobs, he has delivered positive results.

Rubén Omar Romano

The last time Rubén Omar Romano was in charge of a team in Liga MX was in the Clausura 2018 when he led Atlas.

The Argentinean coach appears as one of the viable options despite having almost 4 years without coaching in Liga MX, however, the tactician has always declared to be open to returning to coaching in the field.
