On the other hand, Ignacio Ambriz's Toluca will miss the Liguilla as they are currently in 14th place in the general classification and it will be very difficult for them to achieve what is necessary to aspire to the reclassification matches.

On the other hand, the Zorros are going like a tank to the direct pass to the Liguilla and unlike places 5 to 12 in Liga MX, they will not have to play the reclassification matches.

These were the goals of the match, which Atlas started losing

The first goal of the match started at minute 4 when, from a free kick on the left flank, the cross fell to Valber Huerta who, with great power, headed the ball in to make the score 1-0.

That was how Toluca started winning the match, but in the 8th minute, Aldo Rocha would make his team have an epic comeback as there was a corner kick that would lead to a series of rebounds in Toluca's area, which Atlas took advantage of.

And in one of those rebounds, Rocha took advantage to shoot from the right side of the goal to make it 1-1.

However, the scoreboard would not remain static as right at the end of the first half Julián Quiñones would make it 1-2 when he received a foul that had to be reviewed with the VAR.

And when the referee reviewed it, he decreed the penalty, which was taken by Quiñones himself, giving his team the lead before the break.

Toluca tried to get back in the game, but Atlas prevented them from doing so

After the break, the game continued without incident until the 59th minute, when Óscar Vanegas committed a handball in his own area, which was ruled a penalty.

Julio Furch was chosen to take the kick, and he easily shot and scored from the left side of the goal to make it 1-3.

But Atlas was to strike one more blow as, at minute 89, Isaías Violante took a pass outside the opponent's area, drove the ball, and unleashed a precise shot that could not be stopped by Camilo Vargas

In this way, the score was 2-3, showing that Toluca was still alive, but not for long as Quiñones would score again, sealing his double and the fate of the Red Devils.

At minute 90+7, Quiñones took advantage of a short corner kick, evaded the Diablos' defense, and gave a pass to Furch who shot at goal, but his shot was repelled.

Unfortunately for goalkeeper Juan Manuel García, the ball fell to the feet of Quiñones, who finished the ball off to make it 2-4.
