It is only a matter of time before Chivas de Guadalajara formalizes Ricardo Cadena's new contract as head coach for the Apertura 2022 Tournament, for which he has already requested the arrival of a reinforcement to face the campaign with a more competitive squad in search of the results that have been so long-awaited in recent times.

The reason why Cadena deleted Sebastián Pérez from Chivas is now known, and Leaño has something to do with it

The coach of the Rebaño Sagrado has been in constant talks with the sporting director, Ricardo Peláez, to plan for the new season, as they know there is no margin for error, and in order to meet expectations, they must analyze in detail the roster they have in order to strengthen it in the best possible way and at the same time also look for ways to accommodate the elements that no longer fit in with the idea he will try to implement.

There are players such as César Huerta, Carlos Cisneros, and Antonio Briseño who are on the list of players who will be bargaining chips to negotiate some new faces, but if they don't make it, they will have to keep them on the team and find a way to have elements of proven quality, especially on the right side, where they are trying to close the signing of a fullback.

The first player requested by Ricardo Cadena

Given Cadena's imminent permanence at Chivas, the coach is aware of the shortcomings they have suffered on the right flank, where he has had to use Carlos Cisneros as a right back in the line of five that he has had since his arrival; however, he knows that he needs an element with these natural conditions both to defend and attack.

For this reason, he agreed with Peláez on the need to have a player like Alan Mozo, with whom they have already held an initial meeting to find out his expectations and the willingness of Pumas UNAM to negotiate him, given that his contract expires in 2023 with the felines. Thus, the Mexican fullback would be the first signing under the command of Ricardo Cadena as the Rojiblancos’ coach.
