He already knows what it means to be the owner of a soccer club, with all its ups and downs, and now is looking to expand in different leagues, which is why he could consider buying Club América from Televisa and Emilio Azcárraga.

One of his first decisions as owner of Club América will be acquiring Carlos Vela, a player that has shown his affect for the club in the past, to finally give the team the boost it needs to return to its former glory. He’d also fire Santiago Baños as he currently hasn’t done anything to improve the club.

François-Henri Pinault, who currently owns Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais FC, might consider buying Club América after hearing of it from his wife, Mexican actress Salma Hayek, who in the past even tried to convince former Club América player to join her husband’s team in Ligue 1.

How much does Club América costs?

Although Emilio Azcárraga hasn’t shown interest in selling the team and one of Televisa’s main products, but according to Forbes, Club América’s net worth is set around $200 million, including the $81 million that the roster is worth.
