The three players who will leave Club América at the request of Emilio Azcárraga

And now, with just over a month coaching in Liga MX, he’s proved to have what it takes to help a team like Club América to return to the right path, as he’s won two of the four games he’s coached, as well as tying one more.

The only game he lost was the first one he coached in Mexico’s top flight, against CF Monterrey by a 2-1 score, as he only had two days to get to know and train with the senior squad, given that Solari was sacked after a mid-week game.

But he knows that the results he’s having are not enough to return Las Águilas to the top spots of Liga MX, something that Emilio Azcárraga is also aware of, which is why he’s requested that three players of the current roster leave América once the season is over.

Who are the players that will leave América?

According to sports journalist Jonatan Peña, Azcárraga knows that even if the bad results that Solari had were his responsibility, there were some players in the squad that were waiting for his dismissal as they didn’t like the Argentine coach.

That’s why América’s owner is willing to clean the locker room before the next season starts, starting with Bruno Valdez, as the defender has forgotten his primary function, which is to defend, given that he often leaves his place to become another striker and has made him commit several mistakes.

The second player that will leave Las Águilas is Luis Fernando Fuentes, as the left-back will turn 36 this year and América already has his replacement in the roster: Salvador Reyes, who has become the starting left-back.

The last player that will leave Club América once Clausura 2022 is over, regarding of the results, is Henry Martín, as the Mexico international hasn’t been of any help for the Azulcremas. So far, he’s scored just two goals in the 10 games he’s played.
