Reports from TUDN are pointing that Gallos Blancos won’t play their next home game in Estadio Corregidora but rather in Estadio Morelos, in Morelia, where Atlético Morelia from Liga de Expansión plays their home games.

Id it turns to be true, this will mark the beginning of the end for professional soccer in Querétaro, as the franchise will have to be sold by the end of the year, and given the current offers that Grupo Caliente has received, the team will be relocated for Apertura 2022.

It’s yet to be seen where Querétaro will end up playing next season, but for now, there’s rumors pointing towards the interest of one of the biggest soccer groups in the world that want to expand their sports empire and Querétaro is the perfect chance for them.

Who is the soccer group interested in Querétaro?

Red Bull is known for liking to invest in different sports, from F1 to Motocross and BMX. But among all of those sports, soccer is also a big branch for them, as they currently own four teams in different leagues around the world.

Gallos Blancos could become the fifth team joining RB Salzburg, RB Leipzig, New York RB and RB Bragantino, and on the same movement leaving Querétaro and rebranding to bring back to live a Liga MX club that was famous during the 90s.

Which club will Red Bull revive?

Following the idea of representing teams linked to the image of the bull, Toros Neza could return to Liga MX for Apertura 2022 if the acquisition of Querétaro becomes real, and their relocation will be to Estadio Neza 86, in Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl.

Toros Neza were established in 1991, and peaked between 1995 and 1997, when they played multiple Liguillas and were runners-up for the Verano 1997, although they lost by a 7-2 aggregate. Los Toros disappeared at the end of the 2002 season.
