After Chivas were eliminated from Clausura 2022 in quarterfinals, they haven’t announced any movements, something that is becoming worrisome for El Rebaño followers, as the preseason for the team will start next week.

Alexis Vega could have joined Cruz Azul, but for this reason, he did not

So far, El Rebaño Sagrado haven’t even decided who is going to be their next coach for Apertura 2022, as reports suggest that Amaury Vergara has happy with Ricardo Cadena’s performances, but Ricardo Peláez refuses to keep him on the bench, as he argues that Cadena doesn’t have enough experience.

TUDN informed that Peláez interviewed five different candidates to take over the role with Diego Aguirre being the chosen one, but after they didn’t announce him as negotiations stalled, it was Cruz Azul who signed the Uruguayan coach, leaving Chivas without their top option.

Aguirre is not the only addition that Chivas might lose

As if that wasn’t enough, El Rebaño were negotiating the arrival of Pumas’s right-back Alan Mozo, who wants to play for Chivas as he knows that it will be a bigger showcase for him and his aspirations of playing in Qatar 2022.

But just like with Aguirre, Chivas haven’t announced his arrival, and according to reports from sports journalist Vladimir García, it is because Tigres has joined the pursue of the Mexican right-back and given that they’ve made a better offer than Chivas, Pumas are considering sending the 25-year-old defender to Los Felinos instead.
