After Sebastián Córdova said that he was glad he left Club América to a team where he’ll actually be considered and he’ll have playing time, Santiago Solari couldn’t resist and answered back to the former América offensive midfielder.

During an interview, the Tigres player said that upon his arrival from Tokyo Olympics, he had a misunderstanding with the Argentinean coach, as he wanted to play but Solari’s plans were to keep him in the bench and play only as a substitute.

Solari answered back, manifesting that Córdova wasn’t a starter as he lacked discipline and wasn’t perseverant enough. He continued saying that a player must be humble and play in any position that the coach tells him to, something that Córdova didn’t understand in his last season with the Azulcremas.

The former Real Madrid and Club América Chilean striker, Iván “Bam Bam” Zamorano, reassured that not every player is fit to wear jersey number 10 in América, as they must be physically and mentally capable, something that Córdova lacked when he was wearing it.
