According to reports, Bayern Munich, his current club, had agreed to play a game against Tigres in June, during their preseason tour over North America, in a reedition of the final of theClub World Cup that the Germans won with a goal scored by Benjamin Pavard.
But after the calendar for next season was revealed, they decided to cancel the game as they will have a tight schedule given that everything was moved to leave a month off in November to play the World Cup for the first time outside of the summer window.
The Bavarians are even considering cancelling the whole preseason tour in the United States to avoid the tiredness of the travel, according to reports from MedioTiempo, and instead hold some preseason matches in Europe.

The bad news are not only for Los Felinos players, who were expecting to prove their level against one of the best teams in the world and against FIFA’s The Best, but also for Miguel Herrera, who keeps disappointing with his attitude outside the pitches.
The Felinos management weren’t happy with Herrera’s declarations about Mexico National Team and their current coach, Gerardo “Tata” Martino, especially since he revealed himself as one of the candidates to replace him.

The same reports suggest that Bayern Munich is looking to reschedule the game for the summer of next year, as there will be more time to plan and travel from country to country, although there’s still more than a year ahead.
