Peláez believes that by offering this player to Pumas, they will give him Mozo

Chivas' sporting director, Ricardo Peláez, is seeking for the sixth consecutive transfer market the signing of a right-back with experience in the Mexican National Team, so they know they have no margin for error, as the elements that came into the fold to compete for the position of Jesús Sánchez failed: first Josecarlos Van Rankin and then José Madueña. So this time they will not be looking for an alternative, but to hire Mozo, and they have already sent their first proposal to the felines. 

Mozo had a good season in this Clausura 2022 and he is in the interest of several clubs, so it will not be an easy task for Chivas to sign him, although this time it seems more viable than in previous markets and Guadalajara hopes to negotiate him beforehand by tempting the directors of Club Universidad Nacional, who lack an element that will no longer have space at Chivas, to secure their first signing when opening this transfer market for the Apertura 2022.

Who would Chivas offer?

SanCadilla, Cancha's anonymous column, reported that Chivas is analyzing the possibility of offering a player and money in order to finally acquire Alan Mozo's services. In this case, the player proposed by Peláez was goalkeeper Raúl Gudiño, who did not renew his contract and would be negotiated by the Rojiblancos before the expiration of his contract at the end of this year. This would be a solution for Pumas, which needs a starting goalkeeper after the departure of the experienced goalkeeper Alfredo Talavera.

Alan Mozo, the 25-year-old right-back, sporadically called up to the Mexican National Team for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, had a dream semester, playing 14 matches, in which he provided four assists. In the CONCACAF Champions League, he played seven matches and provided another four assists, but missed the final of the event due to injury.
