He is one of the most criticized players of the entire squad for his performance, as he failed to play an important role in any of the Clausura 2022 matches, despite being one of Marcelo Michel Leaño's favorite players during his tenure as head of the Rojiblancos.

The player played in 6 of the 12 games coached by Leaño and twice as a starter, however, his performances were very poor and since Leaño's departure, Huerta did not play as a starter again and only did so on three occasions to come on as a substitute and play a total of 14 minutes, so Cadena erased the player during his stay.
