The Chivas main squad supports the current interim coach and even Roberto Alvarado, the Rebaño's striker, highlighted Ricardo Cadena's qualities and commented that they have perfectly fit in the Rojiblanco dressing room, but it seems that not all the club's players would like him to remain in the position.

The expected signing by America that would mean the departure of Henry Martin

El Rebaño Sagrado said goodbye on Sunday night after a 1-1 draw with Atlas at the Jalisco Stadium, during the second leg of the quarterfinals of the Clausura 2022 Grita México Liga MX Tournament, a vibrant edition of the Clásico Tapatío in the Liguilla, a stage that seemed impossible to reach in mid-April, when Cadena took over the reins of the first team.

Ricardo Cadena took over as Chivas' head coach on April 14, after being promoted from the subsidiary Club Deportivo Tapatío in the Liga Expansión MX, to take the place left by Marcelo Michel Leaño and since then, thanks to a string of positive and convincing results, he has won the affection of the Chivas fans and the respect of the Rojiblanco dressing room, everyone hopes that he can be ratified for the Apertura 2022 Tournament, but the leadership of the fold does not think the same.

Although the majority of the team supports Ricardo Cadena, due to the loss of minutes it is likely that two players do not agree with his continuity.

Who are the players who would not want Cadena to continue?

The players who would not be very happy with Ricardo Cadena's continuity would be forward Ángel Zaldívar and midfielder Alan Torres due to the loss of playing time. Both players played less and in the last few games, they only played when they came off the bench to play the last minutes of the game.

In the quarterfinals against Atlas, Zaldívar played 23 minutes in the first leg and only 9 in the second leg, and against Pumas, he did not play a single minute, a playoff game that allowed Chivas to play in the Liguilla.

On the other hand, Alan Torres played as a starter in the first leg against Atlas but was substituted at the end of the first half, while he did not play in the second leg, as he remained on the bench for the entire match.
