Those arrested are two police officers from the municipality of Querétaro and one from the state, as well as an element of Civil Protection, who are accused of not executing "legally necessary decisions to avoid" the massive battle between the barras of both teams at the Estadio La Corregidora on March 5, in a match of the ninth round of the Clausura 2022 tournament.

"The offenses charged refer to unjustified omissions in relation to the due fulfillment of their obligations at the time of the facts, being present and with direct participation in the control of the development of the event," explained the authority.

Those arrested will be brought before a judge, who in the next few hours will determine whether they will remain in prison or be released.
