It should be remembered that the playoffs will be played over one game at the home of the team with the highest overall ranking, so that in the event of a tie after 90 minutes, the series will be decided in a penalty shootout.

For their part, Pachuca, Tigres, Atlas, and América are now calmly awaiting the teams that will finally define the eight guests to the Fiesta Grande of the Clausura 2022.

Below are the dates and times for the playoffs, in which the 12 survivors will seek to snatch the title they won last semester from the Rojinegros.

Cruz Azul vs. Necaxa

Date and time: Saturday, May 7 at 5:45 p.m.

Venue: Estadio Azteca

The Estadio Azteca has ceased to be a fortress for Cruz Azul, especially in the final part of the competition. La Máquina played nine games at the Coloso de Santa Úrsula, winning four and losing five, scoring nine goals, and conceding 10. However, one of the defeats they suffered at home was against Necaxa in round five.

Los Rayos played eight away games, winning four, drawing two, and losing two, scoring 13 goals and conceding eight.

Monterrey vs. Atlético de San Luis

Date and time: Saturday, May 7 at 8:00 p.m.

Venue: BBVA Stadium

Rayados made the BBVA a fortress throughout the regular phase of the Clausura 2022, winning five, drawing three, and losing only one of the nine matches they played, scoring 12 goals and conceding six. However, that only loss came against Atlético de San Luis, their rival in the playoffs.

The Potosinos have played eight matches away from home, with three wins, one draw, and four defeats, scoring 11 goals, in addition to the 12 they have conceded.

Puebla vs. Mazatlan

Date and time: Sunday, May 8 at 17:00 hrs.

Venue: Cuauhtémoc Stadium

The Camoteros lost the opportunity to qualify directly in the last round of the competition with the loss to Mazatlán but will have the playoff match at home, where they played eight matches during the regular phase with only two wins, five ties, and one loss, scoring 11 goals and conceding nine.

The Sinaloa team will be in a scenario that did not favor them throughout the Clausura 2022, as they were only able to rescue seven points from the 27 they played, with two wins, one draw, and six defeats, scoring 10 goals for 17 conceded.

Chivas vs. Pumas

Date and time: Sunday, May 8 at 7:15 pm

Venue: Akron Stadium

Chivas will host Pumas at Akron Stadium to play for a ticket to the quarterfinals of the tournament. Guadalajara played nine matches at home, winning four of them, one of them against UNAM, in addition to two ties and three defeats, with 14 goals scored and 12 conceded.

On the other hand, the felines played nine away games in which they scored 10 goals, conceded 14, won only two games, tied two, and lost five.
