Liga MX 2022 rumors: Club America dreams of Agustin Canobbio

The new Liga MX 2022 rumor that is gaining momentum every day is that Club America is dreaming of Agustin Canobbio, the MVP of Uruguayan soccer who just won the tournament in his country, with Peñarol.

The 23-year-old promising youngster obtained the majority of the votes cast by the Technical Team, captains and coaches of the clubs, journalists, and the general public, to win the award for the Best Player of the Uruguayan Championship. 

Although there is still no confirmation from the Azulcrema board or the player, it is known that the Aguilas are already sounding out the player, who is also wanted by Boca Juniors. 

The right-sided midfielder could fit well in the game plan of Santiago Solari, Club America's coach, as he can bring depth to the attack, and with his youth, he could easily free himself from the rivals' coverage. 

Agustin Canobbio's numbers

The young promise of Uruguayan soccer was born in Montevideo and began his career in Fenix, and then arrived at Peñarol, where he finished consolidating his career.

He also won a 2018 Uruguayan Super Cup and the Uruguayan Championship that same year.
