Even though Round 3 of Liga MX 2022 has already ended, Mexican clubs continue to make signings, but just today Colo Colo regretted in this way the negotiation with Cruz Azul for Chilean striker Iván Morales

Although at the beginning of the negotiation everything went well for the Cacique of Chilean soccer, at the end of it one of the majority shareholders of the club made his feelings known due to the departure of the player

And what he said was not about whether the player will be missed at the club, but that the negotiation was bad and that they practically ended up giving the player to Cruz Azul.

This is how Colo Colo Colo regretted the negotiation of Iván Morales with Cruz Azul

The maximum individual shareholder and director of Blanco y Negro, Aníbal Mosa, regretted that Iván Morales left Colo Colo Colo for around 400 thousand dollars to Cruz Azul of Mexico.

The director did not measure his words and said this to his country's press about Morales' departure to Liga MX:

"I did not agree with the negotiation, it was handled badly, there were situations that could have been handled differently and I think we gave away Iván Morales, that is the truth of things. I understand that players need a change of air and most of us believed that he could have a break and a way out, but not in the conditions that were given. Colo-Colo trained Iván for more than 10 years, it is not only an economic issue, there is time, affection. We gave him away".

Iván Morales arrives to Liga MX as a champion

Mosa's words echoed throughout the press in his country and it is not for less since Morales, together with Cacique won the Chilean Super Cup by defeating Universidad Católica with authority by 2-0, in a match played in front of a good crowd at the Ester Roa Rebolledo Stadium in Concepción.

It is therefore very likely that Mosa felt that they should have asked for more money for the player since by winning the championship, his value on the market probably increased.

On the other hand, the player said goodbye to Colo-Colo fans with a clear and forceful message in an interview with TNT Sports Chile in which he said: "It will help me in sports (playing in Mexico), professionally. I am already watching (La Liga MX)".

Iván Morales closes a cycle full of successes with Colo-Colo

With this statement, Morales ended a cycle with the Cacique, a team with which he played since 2016, a period in which the striker played 91 games, in which he scored 22 goals and provided 8 assists

In addition, the 22-year-old striker obtained an enviable record in the time he played for El Cacique, with which he won 3 Chile Cups, 3 Chile Super Cups, and a First Division championship, and was also the top scorer of the Chile Cup in 2021.

In the national team, the player participated in the U-20 national team in which he played in the 2017 South American U-20 Football Championship in which his team would be eliminated in the first round after losing to Colombia by the minimum score.

Later the player was called up to Chile's senior national team and made his debut on March 22 against the Mexican national team as a starter, a match in which he played 72 minutes.
