The surprises for Liga MX 2022 continue and the latest is the announcement that Alejandro Mayorga is the new reinforcement of Cruz Azul, a fact that was announced by La Maquina through its social networks.

With an ingenious video in which the community manager of the team's social networks can be seen thinking about how to present the new reinforcement, scenes of the left-back can be seen in the different teams in which he has played

The text of the tweet in which the video appears reads:

"The CM returned from his vacation and got to work. Welcome to Cruz Azul, Alejandro Mayorga!".

This is the third jersey of a big team that Mayorga will wear. The previous ones shown in the video were those of Chivas and Pumas.

Under what conditions does Mayorga arrive at La Maquina?

The defender arrives on loan to La Noria with an option to buy. If the Celeste team decides to keep the player, it will be able to validate the purchase option until December 31 of this year

The purchase of the player is estimated at around 3.5 million dollars.

His salary at Chivas was close to 53 thousand dollars a year, according to the website Salary Sport, and the player will likely continue to receive the same salary at Cruz Azul.

Alejandro Mayorga was the third reinforcement announced by La Maquina for the Clausura 2022. Before his arrival, the Uruguayan Christian Tabó and the Mexican Uriel Antuna had been announced

The team is expected to present two more reinforcements in the coming days: Erik Lira and Carlos Rodríguez, who would increase the number of reinforcements to five.

The player could not hide his excitement at wearing the jersey of one of the greats of Mexican soccer and shared his feelings with his followers on his social networks.

"Together we go for the tenth #CruzAzul

Thank you for this welcome, CM! I'm very happy. You came back from your vacation so eager, you even drew me tattoos of reinforcement. Let's give it our all!", tweeted the player.

Mayorga has experience in several Mexican soccer teams.

His debut was with Chivas in 2017, and with that team, he played in the Copa MX, the CONCACAF Champions League, and in 2018 he moved to Necaxa.

He would then return to Chivas for a second stint in 2018 and from there, in 2019 the player would arrive at Pumas to stay from 2019 to 2020.

He would later return to play for Chivas, a team he left this year to join Cruz Azul.
