After La Liga side Getafe decided to part ways with José Juan Macías just days before the winter transfer window ended, he had a race against the clock to find a new team if he wanted to play for the remainder of the season.
Vergara keeps trashing what being part of Chivas means
Luckily for him, Chivas decided to register him -as he still is under contract with El Rebaño Sagrado-, in a win-win situation, given that Chivas desperately needs a striker that can score and Macías more playing time in order to gain regularity and hoping to earn a spot in Mexico National Team.
But just after Chivas made official his addition to the team, Fernando Beltrán, one of his teammates declared that they don’t need a superstar on the team, what they need is someone that can help them turn things around, hinting that Macías might not have the best attitude and that he caused trouble in the past inside the dressing room.
When Macías decided to try his luck in Europe, his market value was set at $11.5 million, but after playing only 221 minutes with Getafe, his market value fell to $8 million. Now, he returns to Chivas for a last chance to prove why he was considered one of the best Mexican strikers and revalue his worth in the market.
What does José Luis Higuera thinks of Macías’ return to Chivas?
