When he was around 14 years old, he joined the Dallas Football Club youth academy and began his soccer training there. Zendejas showed his intention to become a professional soccer player and gradually he was considered to join the youth teams.

In Dallas, he played in the U-15, U-17, and U-20, over the years he was considered to participate in the first team. By 2014 he had his first call to participate in the Major League Soccer; a year passed and he did not see any minutes with the Dallas jersey, until his debut came until May 2015 in the match against Houston Dynamo.

The right-winger was signed by Chivas but he did not have much participation, so he was transferred to Necaxa, where he was able to shine and later América bought him for the Clausura 2022.
