No one could have asked for a better debut in Clausura 2022 like the one Pumas had yesterday against Toluca on the pitch of Estadio Universitario. But not only that, Pumas also had the chance to debut a young promising player who scored after only 47 seconds on the pitch. When the game was 3-0, Andrés Lillini, who is known of giving young players a chance to prove themselves, decided to give Jorge Ruvalcaba an opportunity in a game that was already decided.

He entered the pitch substituting José Rogério, who scored a ‘golazo’ after a bicycle kick, at 67’. Not a minute had passed since he entered the game when he had his first chance to score, and he didn’t disappoint. He faced Toluca’s goalkeeper all by himself and crossed his shot, leaving Gutiérrez without a chance to stop the ball.
