Before Ricardo “Tuca” Ferreti left Tigres UANL, he was questioned about the lack of opportunities he gave young players, something he never bothered answering. But the truth is his coaching style never was good for aspiring footballers who were part of Los Felinos Academy teams.

That’s what happened with a lot of players, some of them decided to stay until an opportunity came for them and others decided to leave, looking for more playing time and experience, something they were never going to earn under Ferretti’s orders.

Patrick Ogama was one of those players. The 21-year-old striker had a bright future, but “Tuca” closed a lot of opportunities for him and now he must settle to play with Gavilanes FC from Matamoros, a team that plays in Liga Premier, tier III division in Mexico.

Who is Patrick Ogama?

Born in 2000, in Paraná, Brazil, Patrick Ogama is Anselmo “Juninho” Vendrechovski Junior’s son, historical Tigres defender, who played for Los Felinos from 2010 to 2018. Last season he didn’t have any activity as he wasn’t registered by Tigres in their squad.
