According to information from journalist Jesús Hernández, Chivas' coach, Ricardo Cadena, would be very interested in the return of Eduardo 'Chofis' López, a player who is on loan at the San José Earthquakes of the MLS.

On June 30, Chofis' loan from the MLS team ends and he must report to Chivas despite Cadena's interest in the player, Amaury Vergara does not want him on the team despite the fact that he only earns one million dollars a year.
