But because in the end, he had to recognize that the two teams playing in the final of the Clausura 2022 Tournament are clubs that demonstrated throughout 17 Rounds that they are better than the others, and they did so by showing very good approaches on the field and scoring many goals.

Therefore, the way in which the commentator minimized the great final of the Clausura 2022 Tournament caught the attention, but above all, it caught the attention how the same commentator retracted his words through a tweet that went viral.

Who is the commentator who minimized the final of Atlas vs Pachuca?

The commentator is Davis Faitelson, who works for ESPN and who yesterday launched an editorial video in his space on the aforementioned TV network, minimizing the great Mexican soccer final.

Among other statements, Faitelson said without shame that there are no big teams in the final of the tournament and that what there are instead are teams that he disparagingly called "mid-table teams", which unleashed the wrath of Atlas and Pachuca fans alike.

"Neither Pachuca nor Atlas accepts the condition of favorites for the Grand Final of Mexican soccer and I think that, in addition to the nervousness and parity between these two teams, it seems to me that there is also a condition of fear. When this happens, it means that there are no big teams in the Final because Atlas and Pachuca are 'medium-sized' clubs", were the commentator's controversial statements.

As a result, fans of both clubs lynched him on social networks and complained about what he said, however, time would put things in their place and the commentator had to swallow his words.

David Faitelson had to swallow his words

Just a few hours before the start of the Mexican soccer final match, the commentator had to swallow his words and affirmed that no one was missing or left out in the Atlas vs Pachuca match and even began to narrate what he liked most about the match through his Twitter account.

"Pachuca-Atlas: nothing is missing or left out in the Mexican soccer final...", was the tweet with which the commentator had to retract after seeing that he not only offended the fans of the teams but also had to recognize the great level that the Zorroz and Tuzos squads put in the first leg of the Mexican soccer final.

The commentator even used his tweets to recognize the talent of Camilo Vargas, the Atlas goalkeeper who stood out in the match after saving his goal on different occasions.
