Club América will make its debut today against Club Puebla in a visit to Estadio Cuauhtémoc, but in order to start on the right foot and leave Puebla with a victory, first they’ll have to sort a couple of problems on the offensive side.
Las Águilas have been trying to add another striker prior the start of Clausura 2022, but they haven’t managed to close a deal with any of the options they had, and they even let go Leo Suárez to Club Santos, as they hoped they had their new striker by now.
But Club América will have to face Club Puebla with an empty spot to fill in their attack, as negotiations with Club Nacional and Brian Ocampo’s agent didn’t come to an end they were hoping for.
