Fans of Club America attacked Federico Viñas on social networks, and the reason is blunt because the player suffered the scorn of the Azulcrema fans along with Henry Martin when the intentions of Liga MX were the opposite.

The event went viral on Twitter, but what was most striking was the level of contempt that the Azulcremas fans expressed against the two players, who have not had a good time lately with the Águilas team.

The reason why Club America fans lynched Federico Viñas on social networks

On Liga MX's Twitter post, Club América fans were asked to vote for which player would score today against Pachuca and the options were Viñas and Martín, who have not had a good scoring streak in the Clausura 2022 tournament.

In the entire competition, Federico Viñas has scored only 1 goal, while Henry Martín has 4 goals in the regular phase and the Liguilla, an instance in which he has made his presence felt but has yet to win the appreciation of the Azulcrema fans.

In fact, in the tweet, most of the responses were quite forceful on the subject that both players have not been scoring for a long time, which is why the fans of the Águilas have already started to ask for the departure of both players.

One tweeter even wrote that a "prayer chain" should be made so that both players can score in the match against Pachuca, a team that Club America ended up tying 1-1 in the second leg, in a match that the Coapa team already had in the bag.

However, in the 82nd minute, a penalty kick in favor of Pachuca was awarded to the team's goalscorer, Nicolás Ibáñez, who scored the equalizer for the Tuzos.

Once loved, now hated: Federico Viñas' story at Club America

When Federico Viñas arrived at Club America in the 2019 Apertura Tournament, he became one of the team's most pleasant surprises as he not only gave the team more dynamism in attack but also had a goal.

And although it took him a while to adapt, his best season was in the 2020 Apertura Tournament, in which he scored 6 goals but from then on, his scoring quota would drop, and in the current tournament, he only has 1 goal in the tournament so his name is already starting to sound to leave the Eagles.

Will this be Federico Viñas' last tournament at Club America?
