The club is in the top 4 of Liga MX 2022, but right now the doubt about a decision they made at the beginning of the tournament is not leaving them alone.

Did La Máquina make a bad decision regarding this player?

The player in question is Uriel Antuna, a former Chivas player that Cruz Azul exchanged with the Rebaño Sagrado, to obtain Roberto "Piojo" Alvarado, and doubts about the effectiveness of this exchange have already begun to emerge.

This is because while Uriel Antuna started the tournament in an overwhelming way, as the Rounds went by he lost importance in the team, while Roberto Alvarado has had great growth with Chivas.

"El Brujo" Antuna has only accumulated two goals and three assists so far this tournament, while "El Piojo" has three goals and four assists, making him an important element in the resurrection of Club Deportivo Guadalajara

And the doubt is just beginning to explode since, on social networks, fans of both clubs have not stopped making fun of each other because while the performance of one is on the rise, that of the other has come to a halt.

Uriel Antuna has already responded to the comparisons

As was to be expected, this comparison between one player and the other has already affected those involved and in the case of Uriel Antuna, he has already responded to the accusations that have been made on social networks.

"El Brujo" responded on Twitter to these criticisms and although the player did not personally write the response, what he did do was RT a tweet that expressed his feelings on the matter.

The message Antuna retweeted read as follows:

"Now the Chivas guys are gloating about the Piojo-Antuna switch and they can't get enough of throwing it at the Brujo. Normal, their best tournament in the playoffs while the worst of La Máquina's is to be in the top 4. Relax, Brujo @AntunaUriel, the blue fans support you".

The criticism expressed in the tweet has some truth to it since while Chivas are in seventh place in the competition and are fighting for the right to reclassify, Cruz Azul was in the top 4 of the tournament.

However, things could take a turn today as La Máquina is currently losing its match against San Luis, which has pushed it down to 6th place in the competition, just one above Chivas.
