In Jalisco, passion is divided between the two teams from Guadalajara, who do things very differently from each other, but it is striking that while Atlas has already renewed Diego Cocca, at Chivas they still don't know what to do with Ricardo Cadena.

Cocca's renewal puts into perspective what is happening at Club Deportivo Guadalajara, where Ricardo Peláez is still looking for a replacement for Ricardo Cadena, who despite having led the team to the Liguilla, still does not convince the Rojiblanca board.

Atlas has already renewed Diego Cocca

In the Atlas team, the board decided not to waste time after rumors were unleashed that Diego Cocca was of interest to several Liga MX teams, so they decided to renew him for one more year to continue leading the Rojinegro team.

The renewal came a few days after the head coach of the Zorros made known his dissatisfaction about not having certainty about his future since at that time the club had not yet decided to renew him.

The agreement reached between the Argentinean coach and the Jalisco club has not been formalized, however, he will continue working for Grupo Orlegi, since his contract is for an indefinite period.

Therefore, the coach and the team reached an agreement to continue working together for at least one more year, so Atlas fans can rest assured that Cocca will continue to manage the club's destiny on the field.

And as soon as he learned of his renewal, Cocca has already asked his team's board of directors for his first reinforcement, which would be none other than Arturo Alfonso González, who currently plays for Rayados de Monterrey.

This player made his debut in 2012 at Atlas and was sold to Rayados in 2016, so Ponchito will practically return home if the negotiations between the two clubs manage to reach an agreement.

Chivas still don't know what to do with Ricardo Cadena

At Club Deportivo Guadalajara, on the other hand, things are still unresolved, since so far the club is still without a head coach and Ricardo Cadena remains as interim coach, despite all he has done for the team.

And part of this lack of certainty at the club is because Ricardo Peláez is still looking for a coach for the team, although both players and Chivas fans agree that Cadena should stay at the helm.

Although the coach did not manage to lead the team to the title, he did help the Rojiblanco squad recover its dignity after the disaster that Marcelo Michel Leaño left during his time at the helm.

And to add further tension to the issue, it seems that Pelaez was sure that he already had Uruguayan coach Diego Aguirre in the bag, but in the last few hours, it has been mentioned that he could end up choosing Cruz Azul, which would mean that Chivas would still be without a coach.
